Delaware State Fair
Harrington is the home of Delaware State fair an event which attracts 30,000 plus visitors yearly. The fair grounds are a location for year round events, horse shows, live harness racing, flea markets, car races, and many other community events. The 330-acre site has undergone major improvements over the past six years and has been deemed the state's "growing entertainment complex" by the Kent County Tourism Convention and Visitors Bureau. The fairgrounds are home to the annual ten-day Fair in July, Midway Slots and Simulcast, Harrington Raceway, The Centre Ice Rink, and numerous year-round rental events.
